A little belated, but not too bad considering for about two weeks I completely lost all ability to write and only got it back two days ago. Er. Inspired by a scene in book 3 where Chiaki picks Yuzuru up in his car and Morino literally prays, "PLEASE GOD, DO NOT LET NARITA-KUN GET AIDS!" (I choked on air) and a bit in book 5 where Takaya has reluctantly agreed to get in a car driven by Chiaki. You don't need to have read the books for this to make sense.

Notes: Christmas fic for corialis, 2006. This is kind of book canon, in that there are certain things from the Takeda arc that Kousaka thought or did that weren't in the anime, and that there is reference to thngs that happen in the third book, which was not covered by the anime. It still mostly makes sense without knowledge of the books, but if anyone wants a particular reference explained, I'm more than happy to oblige. There is also a little incorporation of historial fact about Kousaka, which you'll find if you google it. Also, for all I know I could be waaaay off base with Kousaka's motivations, because I'm only up to the beginning of book 4 and he really IS inexplicable.
Summary: Kousaka needed a new hobby, and now he's found one.

Notes: This is a present for thehoyden, because she is very lovely and bought me paid time. Also, she just generally deserves fic round about now. Not sure how close this is to what you were thinking, but it's certainly emotionally retarded, if nothing else? XD The title of the fic and all the segments are the chakras, because I'm just that wanky. Sahasrara is the crown chakra, which means 'divinity' and is the master chakra that controls the others. As I tried to make the segment titles relevant to the characters, quick explanation. Anahata = heart chakra, element air, meaning healing/devotion/love/compassion. Visuddha = throat, life, self expression/speech. Ajna = third eye, time, intuition. Manipura = solar plexus, fire, power/control/freedom to be oneself. Svadhistana = sacrum, water, sexual energy/emotion/creativity. Muladhara = root, earth, instinct/survival/security.
Summary: Takaya is surrounded by a number of people who mean different things to him and to whom he means different things in return, and each of them have their own view and understanding (or lack thereof) of both him and his relationship with Naoe.

Notes: Right, so, this has LITERALLY been sitting on my computer for a year. I am Not. Kidding. I didn't really like it when it was done; parts of it felt too repetitive. I'd written about 12,000 words in one hit between 3am and midday, and that is always a good reason to be wary. I thought it needed major editing, but due to the size I was too scared of it to try, which is why despite the fact that I wrote it January 05 I'm not posting it until now. I just reread it the other day; I still don't like it as much as my others, but I don't exactly dislike it anymore either. So... yeah. I guess that's all I wanted to say.
Summary: Takaya has had enough of Naoe being a complete bastard, and so he's decided on a very simple and childish solution-- he's not talking to Naoe anymore.
